ATPAM Ratifies Renewal Agreement with Broadway League

On November 30, members of the Association of Theatrical Press Agents & Managers (ATPAM) ratified a renewal agreement with The Broadway League governing employment for Theatrical Managers (Company and House) and Press Agents on Broadway and on touring productions. Over 58% of membership cast votes with 297 voting in favor of the agreement and 36 voting against.

The agreement extends the long standing relationship between ATPAM and the Broadway League for an additional five (5) years through September 2023. The Union achieved its biggest gain in the contract in the welfare (health) contribution made by the employer. Significant annual salary increases and premium payments for expanding work done by ATPAM members on Broadway were also realized.

ATPAM, celebrating its 90th anniversary as a labor union this year, is an affiliate Local of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE).
