Debra E. Bernhardt Labor Journalism Prize
The New York Labor History Association is accepting entries for the Debra E. Bernhardt Labor Journalism Prize. The award is named for Debra Bernhardt, a former head of the Wagner Labor Archives, who helped to document a comprehensive history of our city's working men and women. The $500 prize will be awarded for the best article or series of articles published in a labor or worker center publication, or by an independent journalist, and is open to submissions written between January 2014 and August 30, 2015. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, September 1, 2015.
Entries should include a cover sheet with name of the author and the place and date of publication. Five copies of each article (with cover sheet) should be submitted, to:
