The Last Ship Opens on Broadway with Special Discount for Union Members

"Work is a sacrament, an outward sign of inward grace," preaches Father O'Brien, the salty and profane priest featured in Sting's new musical, The Last Ship, now on Broadway. This celebration of the men and women who still make things, who devote their lives to their work, opened Sunday, October 26.

Composed by Sting and set in his hometown of Wallsend, England, The Last Ship was heralded by the Associated Press as "thrilling with powerful performances, outstanding songs, and real heart. Simply beautiful." In honor of the musical's themes and Wallsend's proud labor heritage in the Swan-Hunter shipyard, Union members receive a discount when purchasing tickets to The Last Ship.
