TWU Local 100 Ratifies New Contract
Yesterday, in an overwhelming show of approval for their new agreement, the rank-and-file members of TWU Local 100 have ratified their new contract. 82% of the Local 100 membership voted in favor of ratification, the largest "yes" vote for a contract in the history of TWU local 100.
The enactment of this contract marks the successful end of a long struggle in bargaining with the MTA. The previous contract covering the Local 100 members had expired in January of 2012.
