NYC Workers Show Strength and Solidarity at 2024 Labor Day Parade
On Saturday, September 7, more than 85,000 workers and their families took to the streets in a powerful and vibrant display of solidarity and pride, marching twenty blocks past tens of thousands of spectators who turned out in support. With the rain (mostly!) holding off, participants including unions, constituency groups, labor partners, bands, and more chanted and sometimes even danced their way up New York's famed 5th Avenue in the nation's oldest and largest Labor Day Parade, this year marking its 142nd Anniversary. Thank you to everyone who came out to make the day a success, demonstrating that we are All Workers, with Many Voices, in One Fight. Special thanks to our incredible volunteers who helped us make sure that a safe and joyful day was had by all!
