Take Action: Support Metro North Workers!

Are you an MTA Metro-North Railroad rider? Please call Metropolitan Transportation Authority - MTA CEO Janno Lieber and tell him to bargain fairly with TWU Locals 2001 and 2055! TWU Locals 2001 and 2055 represent Car Inspectors, Coach Cleaners, and Carpenters in both New York and Connecticut at Metro North. These workers have been in contract talks since 2019. MTA negotiators have taken a hard stance at the bargaining table trying to force these vital services workers into taking 0% wage increases for a portion of their contract. This while having just secured billions in both federal and state funding post-pandemic!

Just like you, TWU's blue-collar working-class men and women are struggling to keep up in difficult economic times. It is mind-boggling that MTA leadership will not settle this contract with what amounts to less than .01% of their annual budget.

Please help by calling the MTA at 212-878-7000 and telling Janno Lieber to withdraw his ridiculous contract demands to the essential TWU workforce at Metro North!
