NYU Adjuncts in Bargaining for New Contract

NYU adjuncts, members of ACT-UAW Local 7902, are bargaining a new contract this year, with their current contract expiring at midnight on September 30th, 2022. Members are fighting hard for a significant pay raise, stronger reappointment rights, pay for training and other duties, better benefits, health insurance, and protection against course cancellation- the fair contract that they deserve. Members held a tabling session yesterday outside NYU'S Bobst Library to get the word out about upcoming negotiations, with support from the CLC's own Scabby.
