Local 3 Apprentice and Journeyman Named CSKILLS’s “Alumni of the Month”

The Edward J. Malloy Initiative for Construction Skills (CSKILLS) is a pre-apprenticeship preparation program that involves classroom instruction and hands-on training. Since 2001, CSKILLS has placed over 2,300 New York City residents into union-registered apprenticeship programs and more than 1,600 of these apprentices remain actively employed in the unionized construction industry. Each month, CSKILLS recognizes one of their alumni as “Alum of the Month.” In April and June, Local 3 IBEW 1st-year apprentice Jose Reyes and “A” journeyman Alec Laino, respectively, received this special recognition for their hard work and accomplishments.
