Final Weekend to Get Out the Vote for Labor Candidates!
In the final days of the 2024 election, union members and volunteers are turning out the union vote for Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz as well as other pro-worker candidates, capping the largest voter mobilization in the Labor Movement’s history.
In the last two weeks of the election cycle, union members across the country are contacting more than 5 million union voters at their doors, on the phones, and at worksites. In the final days, tens of thousands of union volunteers are on the ground. With union voters accounting for 1 in 5 voters in the Blue Wall states, the Labor Movement is leaving no stone unturned in the final push to get out the vote.
And we're doing our part in New York on behalf of worker-friendly candidates up and down the ballot! On Saturday morning, the NYC CLC has buses going to Pennsylvania where we'll be doing labor walks to talk to voters from union households—reserve your seat here! And if you can't make it to PA, sign up for phone banking from home! We're making calls to PA on Saturday and Tuesday, and calls to NY battleground Congressional Districts supporting labor candidates and Prop 1 (the Equal Rights Amendment) Friday through Monday. Most importantly, make a plan to vote if you haven't already! Polls are open through Sunday for early voting and again on Tuesday for Election Day. Make your voice heard—find your Early Voting and Election Day polling sites here!
