Members of the Ziff Davis Creators Guild, representing the editorial staffs of Lifehacker, Mashable, and PCMag as a part of the NewsGuild of NY, hit the streets outside Ziff Davis headquarters this week to demand wages that keep up with inflation and a contract that addresses transparency on AI.

For months, leaders at Ziff Davis have responded to the union's bargaining committee's demands for information and accountability with the meager phrase, “Just trust us.” They’ve done little to convince workers why they should.

ZDCG is asking for inflation-based raises that give them all a fair and livable wage and a clear and collaborative process for addressing the growing threat of AI.
