Take Action: Help WGAE members at Pineapple Street Studios win a fair contract!
The Writers Guild of America East members at Pineapple Street Studios have spent over a year working hard to negotiate the terms of their first union contract. So far, the Union and management at Audacy – Pineapple's parent company – have come to tentative agreements on important issues such as severance and diversity & equity.
The WGAE's Pineapple Street Union is proud of this progress — but they are still fighting for a contract that treats workers with dignity and respect. So far, Audacy management has rejected fair annual increases, reasonable parental leave, and equitable healthcare that meets WPATH standards — and they've refused to include crucial job security protections like successorship and just cause in the contract.
The WGAE's Pineapple Street Union contract proposals seek to address these issues, but they can’t succeed if management won't work with us during bargaining The union is at a critical moment in their campaign, and they need your help to turn up the pressure on Audacy management. Please take a minute to send a letter to Audacy/Pineapple Street Studios' management urging them to agree to a fair, equitable contract for WGAE members that includes successorship and just cause.
