Transport Workers Union Local 100 is mourning the tragic death of Track Worker Hilarion Joseph, 57, who was working as a Flagger at 34th Street and Herald Square when he was struck by a D Train at approximately 12:13 AM on the morning of November 29th. Local 100 President Richard Davis expressed the Union’s condolences and deep sorrow at this line of duty death.

The ballots have been counted and the UAW has announced that Weill Cornell Medicine postdocs have voted by an overwhelming 98.8% to form their union, Weill Cornell Medicine Postdocs United-UAW!
