The Justice for Farmworkers Campaign has been working towards the passage of the Farmworker Fair Labor Practices Act (S2721/A4189). Earlier this year the bill was voted out of the New York State Senate Labor Committee and moved to the Agriculture Committee, where it currently sits.

Mary Harris, more widely known as Mother Jones, was an Irish American schoolteacher and labor organizer who shed light on the plight of child workers in Pennsylvania.
