AFM Local 802 Celebrates 100 Years

The 100th birthday party of Local 802 was a smash success, featuring top union bands and visits from Senator Chuck Schumer, CLC President Vinny Alvarez and many other allies. CLC President Alvarez said, "On behalf of the entire New York City labor movement, the New York City Central Labor Council congratulates Local 802 on 100 years of advocating for economic and social justice for our City’s world class musicians and for society as a whole.
