District Council 9 Opens New Recruitment Drive; 500 Applications Available

District Council 9 is beginning its recruitment process for Painter, Decorator and Paperhanger apprentices on Tuesday, August 24. The application period runs to through Tuesday, September 7. DC9 is accepting 500 applications for apprenticeship training.

Five-hundred applications will be handed out, in person, at the DC 9 Finishing Trades Institute of New York training facility on a first come, first served basis, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 3 pm, at the Finishing Trades Institute of New York located at 45-15 36th Street, Long Island City.
