On Monday, NYSNA nurses at NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) who work in a pediatric intensive care unit at the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital won an arbitration award after tracking the unsafe staffing levels in their unit from Jan. 1, 2023, to May 31, 2024.

Nurses at Montefiore, Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Morningside and West Ratify New Contracts by Overwhelming Majority

NYSNA members at Montefiore, Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Morningside and West have voted to ratify new 3-year contracts by an overwhelming majority. Voting took place Feb. 9-11. These three contracts will cover approximately 10,500 nurses at two hospital systems.
