Citywide Rally for UAW Members on Strike

Saturday, September 30, 1PM: With Auto Corporations making record profits, workers demand equal pay, benefits for equal work! Join the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, NYC Chapter, Teamsters Local 808, the Coalition of Labor Union Women, the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement and more for a rally in support of striking UAW members. Demands will include that automakers end wage tiers which discriminate and divide workers, bring back COLA, institute profit-sharing, set a 32 hour work week, agree to a 30% raise over 4.5 years, improve retirement benefits, and never forget who actually makes cars! At the General Motors Building, 767 5th Avenue between 58th and 59th Street.
