Union Veterans Meet with NYC Dept. of Veterans' Services Commissioner Hendon

This week, Commissioner James Hendon of the NYC Department of Veterans' Servicesmet with 25 Union Member Veterans and other advocates for Veterans in the Labor Movement from 17 different unions.

Commissioner Hendon described some of the services and assistance offered by his department as well as other resources available. There was also discussion about some of the challenges Veterans face both in and out of the workforce.  

The CLC is grateful for the service of all Veterans and especially our Veteran sisters and brothers in the Labor Movement and, as a Movement, we are committed to making sure that the Veteran Community and their families have the support that they need and deserve.
