Take Action: Tell Congress to Extend the Zadroga Act!

For thousands who are sick from the toxins at Ground Zero, 9/11 is not a day in the past. It is something that they are living with every day—and that some are dying from. Our members from around the country came to Ground Zero to assist in the cleanup and recovery. They live in every state in the country.
The World Trade Center Health Program is facing a funding shortfall in a few years unless Congress acts. Supporters in Congress have introduced the bipartisan “9/11 Responder and Survivor Health Funding and Correction Act of 2025” (H.R. 1410/S. 739) which would ensure that the program gets the funding it needs.
But Congress needs to act, so your Members of Congress need to hear from you. Our friends at Citizens for the Extension of the James Zadroga Act, which was created by the NYS AFL-CIO to advocate for 9/11 responders and survivors, have made it easy for you to contact your Members of Congress and ask them to cosponsor the bill. Click hereto take action, and find out more on this issue by visiting the Citizens for the Extension of the James Zadroga Act Inc. website.
