Striking UAW Members at HarperCollins Hold Second #TakeItToTheTop Rally

Unionized employees on strike from HarperCollins Publishers hosted a rally yesterday outside parent company, News Corp, offices in Manhattan, where they were joined by supporters from unions across the City as well as elected officials.

UAW Local 2110 represents 250+ employees in editorial, sales, publicity, design, legal, and marketing departments at HarperCollins. The union is bargaining for higher pay, a greater commitment to diversifying staff, and stronger union protection. Negotiations started in December 2021 and unionized employees have been on strike since November 10th.
