Demonstration at FEGS

1,400 jobs are being moved from FEGS to new agencies. For most, no guarantees are being made to keep the workers employed doing the work they have always done – caring for the poor, the weak, the ill and the disabled.

We are asking the public to tell your elected officials that every worker should be allowed to follow the work. They should be employed by the new agencies without any loss of pay. Not only is it fair to the workers but also to New York’s most vulnerable.

The quality and continuity of patient care should not be jeopardized.
