TWU Local 100 recently successfully organized approximately three dozen workers at the New York Transit Museum through a voluntary recognition agreement with management.

Workers cited several key issues that drove their decision to unionize: low wages, the reassignment of some full-time employees to part-time status, and a loss of benefits without any corresponding wage increases. By joining TWU Local 100, these workers are standing together to demand fair treatment and a voice on the job.

The New York Transit Museum, located in a decommissioned 1936 subway station in Downtown Brooklyn, is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the history of mass transportation in New York City. Click hereto learn more about the museum.
