Tell Reuters Execs: Reuters Workers Deserve Guaranteed Raises!

Members of the Reuters Guild along with supporters held an informational picket outside company HQ Thursday to let management know that they won't stop until they get a fair contract with wage increases that reflect their value. The Reuters media workers, including Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists, have been fighting for a fair contract with management since last September. Management’s current proposal of only 1% GWI, coupled with “merit” raises based on Reuters’ subjective and flawed performance evaluation system, is inadequate and insulting.
