Take Action: Tell PHH Employers to Stop Union Busting and Give Workers a Fair Contract

Union members have earned their benefits through years of work and collective bargaining. But a group of seven employers ("PHH Employers") including Mayer Malbin in Woodside, Queens, are refusing to offer their employees a fair union contract. Members of Local 888 UFCW held an informational picket at the location on Monday morning.
These companies have proposed the elimination of essential benefits, including the company’s contributions to employee 401(k) retirement plans, and have proposed that their employees contribute outrageous amounts toward the health and welfare coverage. These proposed changes threaten the financial security and well-being of the very people who help keep their businesses running day in and day out.
In today's challenging economic climate, these benefits are not just perks—they are necessities that allow workers to prepare for the future and maintain a standard of living that ensures their health and happiness. It is unjust and unethical to strip these hard-earned benefits from the hands of those who have worked tirelessly for them.
Please sign this petition to urge these employers to cease all anti-union activities, negotiate in good faith, and honor the contracts that ensure the well-being and security of their employees.
