The workers of GMG Union and Onion Union (The A.V. Club, Deadspin, Gizmodo, Jalopnik, Jezebel, Kotaku, The Onion, Quartz, The Root, and The Takeout) are fighting against G/O Media’s use of artificial intelligence to generate content.
The unions strongly oppose the company’s publication of AI-created editorial content. Doing so erodes trust in journalists, threatens their jobs, and damages their publications. The unions demand that the company cease this use of AI and invest in human workers instead—and they need your help.
