Take Action: Support ASL Interpreters Organizing for a Voice on the Job with OPEIU!

For the past year, OPEIU has been organizing sign language interpreters at Sorenson Communications and ZP Better Together. The union has been able to build a committee of interpreters across the US and Puerto Rico, launched a public campaign, and has been fighting to improve wages and working conditions at the two companies.

They are organizing to win a fair organizing process for the entire workforce of ASL interpreters who work in Video Relay Service, an essential service that ensures that Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing people have equal access to telecommunications services.
