Take Action: Stop Layoffs and Reduction of Hours at Make the Road New York!

The Make the Road NY Union, members of UAW Local 2320 (NOLSW), recently ratified a contract after a long fight and previous union busting attempts. Now, MRNY's executive leadership is moving management positions around, with significant pay disparities, while claiming that they have to lay off almost 20% of the union membership, who are all frontline staff, and gut the work hours of 10% of the union staff. The union contends that management has not proven good faith economic reason for making this decision, and believes this is a tactic being deployed to discourage those in Make the Road States from unionizing.
