Support Heat Pumps for All in the FY27 City Budget!

New York City has an opportunity to make life more affordable for working families while taking meaningful action on climate change.
The proposed Heat Pumps for All initiative would invest $10 million to help 1,000 one- and two-family homeowners upgrade to energy-efficient heat pumps. This program would lower utility bills, reduce strain on the electric grid, support union labor, and help New Yorkers keep more money in their pockets.
Click here to urge Speaker Julie Menin and Finance Chair Linda Lee to prioritize funding for Heat Pumps for All during budget negotiations. This pilot program is a smart investment in affordability, energy savings, and a healthier future for our communities.
