Over 10k "March to Stop the Cuts" in NYC

On Saturday, the NYC CLC along with more than fifty unions and community groups participated in a March to Stop the Cuts to vital government programs and the federal workforce. Thousands of New Yorkers came together in response to President Donald Trump, Congressional Republicans, and unelected billionaires like Elon Musk firing federal workers and threatening up to $2 trillion in cuts to health care, public education, and other social services, all in order to to fund a massive tax giveaway to the wealthy and corporations.
The march began with a rally in Foley Square, and then moved down Broadway past Wall Street’s Charging Bull toward Battery Park.
