NYC CLC and LaborArts Celebrate New Photo Exhibit: "New York City Works: Jobs, Advocacy, Action"

This week, the NYC CLC and LaborArts proudly unveiled a new photo exhibit at the CLC's Manhattan office entitled "New York City Works: Jobs, Advocacy, Action." The permanent exhibit showcases the city’s vibrant history as a true Union Town, reflecting the pivotal role workers and labor unions have played in shaping New York City.
LaborArts embraced the challenge of curating a compelling photo exhibit for the walls of the CLC’s office, and the exhibit features 18 evocative photographs and captions that showcase the New York City Labor Movement’s enduring culture of solidarity. Visitors can also explore the exhibit online at LaborArts.org.
Members and friends of LaborArts, NYC CLC affiliates, and students gathered on Wednesday evening to experience the curated collection firsthand. Many thanks to Rachel Bernstein and May Ying Chen of LaborArts for their many months of work in bringing this exhibit to life! Click here to view online!
