Musicians at Argyle Theatre Win a First-Time Union Contract

Musicians at the Argyle Theatre have won a first-time union contract, powered by American Federation of Musicians (AFM) Local 802. Using the power of their union, musicians won:
* 17 percent wage increases
* Prohibition of virtual orchestras so musicians can't be replaced by tech
* 50 percent subbing out policy (same as Broadway)
* Job security and right of first refusal
* Pension contributions
* Anti discrimination clause
* And more!
Musicians: if you're playing a gig that's not paying the wages and benefits you deserve, contact AFM Local 802 to amplify your power. You can message Local 802 at @musicians_of_ny or start at www.local802afm.org/hotline!
