IBEW Local 3 Sign Division Members Light Up Times Square for the 2026 New Year’s Eve Ball Drop

Local #3 IBEW Sign Division members working for union signatory contractor AMA Electric Sign Co. installed and operated the new Constellation Ball and 2-0-2-6 Numerals for the world-famous New Year's Eve Ball Drop Celebration in Times Square.

The new ball is 12.5 feet in diameter with over 5,000 circular LED light pucks, and the 7 feet tall numerals have almost 600 LED bulbs in total. They will be on display year-round atop the One Times Square skyscraper so check it out the next time you're nearby!
