On Thursday October 9th, members of the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW) NYC, CLUW Long Island, and the Remember the Triangle Fire Coalition delegated Revlon CEO and NIKE board member Michelle Peluso at the Revlon HQ to deliver a letter demanding Peluso immediately schedule a meeting with union workers from NIKE's supply chain. This delegation builds upon a letter CLUW's NYC Chapter sent to Michelle Peluso in solidarity with the Fight the Heist campaign asking Peluso to respond to union garment workers demands. Although NIKE's sustainability department eventually replied to the message, there was no word from Peluso herself.

CLUW's delegation was led by Joan Bygrave, Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) member and co-chair of the NYC Garment Solidarity Committee. In their visit to Revlon's HQ, allies told Revlon that Peluso needs to respond immediately to our demand for her to meet with NIKE supply chain workers and not "outsource" her response to NIKE's Sustainability Department. Although Revlon refused to send a representative to meet with the delegation the message was certainly heard loud and clear.
