Baristas Authorize Unfair Labor Practice Strike

Baristas are organizing to actually make Starbucks the best job in retail. Their union contract has the solutions, yet Starbucks refuses to end its union busting or offer new proposals that meet their remaining demands: increased take-home pay, more hours, and better staffing. That's why 92% of union baristas have voted to authorize an unfair labor practice strike as Red Cup Season begins.
If Starbucks won’t move on a fair contract and quit its union busting campaign, baristas are ready to strike on Thursday, November 13, right on the company's busiest sales day of the year. Red Cup Season might look a little different this year.
Let’s make this moment louder. If baristas have to strike, they’re asking you to stand with them by not spending money on Starbucks. Please click here to stand with workers and refuse to shop at Starbucks if baristas have to strike. And in the meantime, scroll down for details on a Red Cup Day rally in NYC!
