32BJ Members Ratify Historic Contract

Residential building workers have overwhelmingly approved their historic new contract covering 34,000 32BJ SEIU NYC Members. 94% voted in favor of the contract that wins a 15% increase to guaranteed pension, protects 100% employer-paid health care, and secures $4.50/hr wage increases while maintaining all existing benefits, including free legal services and training programs.

The union reached a deal with residential real estate industry in April, averting a strike that would have impacted the homes of 1.5 million New Yorkers. Read more about the newly ratified contract here.
