NYU Contract Faculty Launch Union Drive

Come demonstrate your support for the thousand full-time, non-tenure-track faculty at New York University who are demanding a fair process for recognition of their union, Contract Faculty United-UAW. A majority of contract faculty have said they want a union, and on February 22 they presented a petition signed by hundreds to demand that the administration respect their right to collective bargaining; ensure real due process for contract faculty at NYU, including a guaranteed right to grieve termination to a fair and impartial third party; and establish meaningful annual raises that match or exceed the rate of inflation. So far the bosses have refused to give a response.

Please rally with Contract Faculty United-UAW to tell the NYU administration to remain neutral and agree to a fair process for recognition.
