Labor Mass & Banner Procession

Saturday, September 12, 10:30AM: The annual Labor Mass and Banner Procession will take place this year at St. Francis of Assisi, 135 W. 31st Street in Manhattan. This year, in commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of September 11,  we will honor the workers who ran toward danger, helped our city recover and rebuild, and paid an enormous price in the years that followed. All Labor attendees should assemble outside of the Workers' Chapel for the procession of banners at 10:30AM, with Mass beginning at 11AM. While a Catholic Mass, this service is open to people of all faiths and traditions, and it emphasizes that our Labor Movement is also a moral movement.
