CWA, 1199, and SLAM to Protest Cablevision and Care One

On Tuesday, October 1, CWA, SEIU 1199, and the NYU student activist group SLAM! will be joining forces to protest at NYU Law School's "Winter Gala" fundraiser. Cablevision Board members Zachary Carter and Vincent Tese, and CareOne owner Strauss all sit on the NYU Law School Board.
 
We will be asking that NYU Law School condemn three of their trustees who have either actively participated in union busting (Strauss) or who have refused to condemn union busting (Carter and Tese).
 
This is an exciting event, with CWA, SEIU 1199, and students all coming together to do some great street theater outside this fundraiser. Can you join us?
 
We will have the famous Cablevision rappers, we will have puppets, "funny" money, students, and allies all joining forces.
