“It’s Who We Are,” a grassroots, non-partisan group dedicated to improving people’s knowledge of our government and democracy, presents a free civics class at the Queens library. Through the seven-session workshop, participants will be able to empower themselves to make the changes they want by learning how the system works and what they can do, concretely and specifically, to get government to respond to you. Union members who live in Queens are encouraged to attend!
