On Tuesday, July 2, members of the Central Labor Council, Teamsters Local 237, workers, elected officials and supporters gathered in City Hall Park for a rally to save jobs, services and programs at NYCHA facilities.  NYCHA is looking to fire five hundred unionized workers, and force 12,000 more to take furloughs as a means to help fix the agency’s financial woes.
