#NYC1u: Creating the Elusive Thumb Stoppers

Tue, Jun 21, 2016 at 09:30 AM to at 11:00 AM

How can we create images and graphics that arrest attention and get our audience to pay attention to our content in a world where we are increasingly inundated with visuals and information across a myriad of social media platforms? This #NYC1u session will explore apps and other platforms ideal for creating what Sree Sreenivasan, Chief Digital Officer for the Metropolitan Museum of Art (@Sree), terms "thumb stoppers." The session will cover punching up imagery from live events, rallies and marches, conveying information visually, and incorporating moving visuals into your social media arsenal.
